Biography
Mallory Marshall, a dynamic dance artist based in Metro-Detroit, is celebrated for her unparalleled versatility within the field of dance. Seamlessly transitioning between roles as a performer, educator, and choreographer, Mallory brings a wealth of expertise and inspiration to all her endeavors. Her journey in dance commenced at the young age of two at The Dance Shoppe in Waterford, MI, igniting a lifelong dedication to her craft.
A proud alumna of Wayne State University (Detroit, MI), where Mallory earned her B.F.A. in dance, she distinguished herself as a consummate performer, innovative choreographer, invaluable research assistant, Dance Captain of the spring 2022 musical, “Head Over Heels,” and choreographer of the fall 2022 production, “RENT.”
Mallory continues to broaden her skills in some of the nation’s premier dance meccas such as Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago. Her performance repertoire spans across commercial back-up dance, concert dance, musical theater, and beyond.
A sought-after guest teacher and choreographer, Mallory shares her passion and expertise with dancers both locally and nationally. Currently serving as a dedicated teacher and choreographer at The Dance Shoppe, Mallory is deeply committed to nurturing and empowering the next generation of dance enthusiasts, inspiring them to reach new heights of artistic excellence.
